It may be time to update your skin care routine? Or maybe make one! That would be a great thing to start for the new year. Your routine can be as simple and quick as you want it to be. I’ve watched so many routines on YouTube and some of them use way too many products. I believe you should have 4 maybe 5 products. Cleanser, exfoliate, eye cream and moisturizer. Eye cream is optional but the skin by your eyes is more sensitive and thin than the rest of your face, so it should be treated with a separate cream.
Dermatologists recommend washing the skin as soon as possible after exercising so your pores don’t get clogged!
Get rid of all the dead and flaky skin to reveal the healthy layer of your skin. This will allow the rest of your face products to really sink into your skin.
When it comes to wrinkles, the eye area actually shows wear and tear first because the skin is much thinner than the rest of the face. So take care of it!
You lose moisture when you perspire so it’s important to moisturize. Moisturizers help retain the skin’s water.
Lastly, wear SUNSCREEN. Sun exposure effects the distribution of elastin and collagen in the skin which can lead to sun spots and discoloration!
