Black Friday

You’re a brave person if you participate in Black Friday shopping. Be sure to bring a friend and your game face! If this is your first-time stepping foot out into the craziness of Black Friday, then this article is for you.

#1 – Make a Game Plan

Do some research and prep. Find out which store is having what deals. Map out which stores you want to hit and where you want to spend the bulk of your money/time. Remember your place and stick to it! You should also have back up plan incase a store is way to crazy for you or the items you wanted are gone. This will save you a lot of frustration and panic.

#2 – Stay in the Know

We all hate out email getting swamped with promotional emails, but this is the time to sign up for them and browse them! Most importantly, don’t forget about online shopping. You may even find better deal and guess what? No line and you can shop in your PJs! Keep track of what store is offering what, this will help you decide where to go and keep you updated. Remember to take a look at every store’s return policy especially if you’re buying gifts! And don’t be afraid to talk to people around you or in line. They may know something you don’t and give you some tips!

#3 - Budget

For me, this is the most important part. I know I am an impulse buyer and Black Friday knows how to get me. Figure out what your budget is and how much you want to spend at each place. If you don’t budget, you will go home in debt and you will probably have to eat packaged ramen for a couple weeks and that’s not fun!! Be smart and aware!

#4 – BE SAFE

I wouldn’t even try to get doorbusters. Someone always gets hurt and it’s just plain madness. Keep your belongings close and always be with someone!
